TIMESKALTIM, JAKARTA – People sometimes having sleeping disorder at night. And some people tend to take it not seriously. Nevertheless, there are several causes of sleeping disorder you need to know.

Taken from Antara here are several cause of sleeping disorder that you need to know.

1. Sleep apnea

Sleep apnea is a condition where you stop breathing while you sleep without you knowing it. It's a serious case that could lead to death because it will stop the flow of oxygen to your brain . Normally people who have this issue will have their lips chapped and a dry mouth when they wake up. They usually also snore during their sleep.

2. Restless Leg Syndrome

Restless Legs Syndrome is some kind of neurological case where people will keep wagging their feet while they sleep. By the time they awake, they will feel some kind of burnt feeling or cramp on their leg.

3. Sleep paralysis

Sleep paralysis is a feeling of being conscious but unable to move. It occurs when a person passes between stages of wakefulness and sleep. During these transitions, you may be unable to move or speak for a few seconds up to a few minutes.

4. Circadian Rythm

Circadian rhythm sleep disorders are caused by desynchronization between internal sleep-wake rhythms and the light-darkness cycle. It's usually happened to those who travel to another country and dealing time different. Or those who usually works on night shift.

5. Insomnia

Insomnia is difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep, even when a person has the chance to do so. It will cause them fatigue, feeling not well in the morning and less energy.
